Does Air France have online check-in?
Yes, you can check in online at AirFrance.com up to 30 hours before your scheduled flight time. You have the option of printing your boarding pass immediately, receiving it by e-mail, by SMS/MMS, or by using a Self-Service Kiosk at the airport.
What are the requirements for using Online Check-in?
- You must check in within 30 minutes-30 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart.
- You cannot check in online if traveling with a baby, pet or bicycle.
- You can check in if your trip includes a layover; but not if you are changing airports during that layover.
- You can check in online, but will still need to retrieve your boarding pass at the airport when departing the following cities: Algiers, Antananarivo, Bamako, Cairo, Casablanca, Conakry, Delhi, Djibouti, Havana, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Johannesburg, Kinshasa, Mumbai, Noumea, Punta Cana, Rabat, Rio de Janeiro, Santo Domingo, Sao Paulo, Tel Aviv, Tunis.
- You cannot check in online if your departure city is one of the following: Alicante, Bern, Damascus, Genoa Ljubljana, Luxembourg, Oviedo, Palma, Pnomh Penh, Seoul, Seychelles, Verona, Vigo, Helsinki.
- You cannot check in online a special needs passenger (ie. Unaccompanied Minor).
Make sure you leave enough time at the airport to get through security.
How about Mobile Online Check-In?
If you have internet access on your mobile phone, you can use it to check in with Air France.
You can even receive your boarding pass on your mobile phone for all trips departing from France and the following countries:
- Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy (except Naples, Pisa), Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain (Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid), Sweden, Switzerland or United Kingdom.
Note, if there is more than one passenger on the same reservation, each passenger must indicate a mobile phone number to receive his or her boarding pass on.
Can I use Online Check-in if I have bags to check?
Yes. You’ll drop your baggage at the “Baggage drop-off” counter before your flight’s Check-In Deadline. (You can also purchase additional baggage allowance when you check in online.)
Can I change/select my seat with Online Check-in?
Yes, when checking in online you can either accept the suggested seat or select a different seat by clicking “Chang seat selection.” Of course you’ll want to check SeatGuru’s maps before making a selection.
If I plan to check in at the airport, how much time should I allot?
