United Airlines Boeing 777-200 WW 2 (Worldwide 2)

United began reconfiguring its Boeing 777-200 fleet with 10 First Class Suites and 45 new Business class flat bed seats in February 2010. As of September 2010, only 9% of the 777-200 fleet had been reconfigured.

This 777 is called "Worldwide 2" by United and is mostly used for US East and West Coast flights to Asia and Europe. The difference between "Worldwide 1" and "Worldwide 2 is subtle". On this version, there is a crew rest area which is accessed by door 3R (third door, right side). The rest area is within the cargo area instead of taking up 3 rows of Economy Plus as it does in United's other 777-200 variation.

Economy Plus is offered on this aircraft type. Economy Plus is not a separate class of service but is standard economy with up to 5 inches of extra legroom. These seats are located nearer to the front of the aircraft and passengers in this section will be served first. Charges for these seats will depend on routing and may be purchased at the of booking or check-in.
