Due to the shape of the business class seats, there is no underseat storage, and it is difficult to exit the window seats when the passenger in the accompanying aisle seat is fully reclined.
Passengers can connect their iPods with the in-seat video screen using a proprietary connector.

United offers more than 150 hours of Audio and Visual OnDemand (AVOD), games, and a map on personal LCD screens. There are also noise-reduction headphones as well as iPod adapters. In economy, the TV screens are stationary, so if the person in front of you reclines, it is difficult to see the LCD panel.

There are regular 110V AC power ports in first and business class. There are no power ports in economy. USB ports are also available for charging portable electronics. Beware, an iPhone will not charge via USB cable connected to the USB port in the seat.
