Due to the shape of the first and business class seats, there is very limited floor storage space. In business class, it is difficult to exit the window seats when the passenger in the accompanying aisle seat is fully reclined, especially in the upper deck, where there is even less space.
In first and business class, passengers can connect their iPods with the in-seat video screen using a proprietary connector.

In first and business class, United offers more than 150 hours of Audio and Visual OnDemand (AVOD). Noise reduction Bose head phones are given to first and business class passengers, and a special jack means passengers cannot use their own headphones.

In first and business class, United offers more than 150 hours of Audio and Visual OnDemand (AVOD), games, and a map on 15.4-inch personal LCD screens. There are also noise-reduction headphones as well as iPod adapters. Economy has projector screens with one movie choice.

There are regular 110V AC power ports in first and business class. There are no power ports in economy. USB ports are also available for charging portable electronics.

Bassinets: Bassinets are available on intercontinental flights for infants up to 6 months old; reserve one for your infant through United Reservations and confirm you are seated in the proper seating area.
