Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer
garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and
adhere to the following requirements:
- Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 22in x 14in x 10in/55cm x 35cm x 25cm (length x width x height)
- Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 22 lb/10 kg
- *If you are in the World Business Class or Europe Select Class you will be allowed the above, plus a garment bag or briefcase not larger than 20cm deep and 17.5 pounds/8 kg.
REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing.

Checked Baggage Allowance
Passengers traveling to/from the U.S. or Canada:
- Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces
- Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height)
- Maximum Weight for Economy passengers: 50 lb/23 kg
- Maximum Weight for WBC/Europe Select passengers: 70 lb/32 kg
Passengers traveling to/from all other destinations:
- Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces
- Maximum Weight for Economy passengers: 44 lb/20 kg
- Maximum Weight for WBC/Europe Select passengers: 66 lb/30 kg
Excess, Overweight, Oversize Baggage Fees
If you have more bags than the permitted allowance or your bags exceed the weight or linear restrictions, you will be charged additional fees. Contact KLM directly, or visit their Excess Baggage Information Page for information.
Sports Equipment
Some checked items, such as surfboards and bicycles will be charged a fixed handling fee because of size, fragility, or other handling requirements. Contact KLM directly, or visit their Special Baggage Information Page for information.
