Delta Airlines McDon. Doug. MD-88 (M88)

There are 113 MD-88 in the Delta fleet, now with two versions.

This version features four rows of First Class and a mid-aft galley in Economy Class.

Rows on the left and right-hand side are not entirely aligned, especially towards the rear of the cabin. Passengers planning to sit across from each other will therefore not be aligned. The right-hand side of the aircraft features duo seats which may be more desirable for travelling couples. There is no video or audio and overhead storage is unlikely to accommodate large bags.

Seat pitch is reduced towards the rear of the cabin. Due to rear mounted engines, the aircraft is noisiest towards the back and seats behind the rear exits should be avoided. All non-aisle armrests are immovable.

The overhead bins are larger on the left-hand side of the aircraft (A,B seats) in both First and Economy class.
