The row numbers don't match up perfectly, especially towards the back, so don't plan on sitting across the aisle from someone. Also, be wary of the 3x2 configuration when selecting seats to be sure you are seated on the side of the aircraft you desire. There is no video or audio and overhead storage may not accommodate larger bags.
Seat pitch is reduced at the back of the plane. Avoid all seats behind the exit if possible. Also, all non-aisle armrests are immovable.
The overhead bins are larger on the A,B side of the plane in both first and economy class.

Delta Airlines now offers internet service on its entire MD-88 fleet. Using Aircell's Gogo service, Delta charges $9.95 for flights of three hours or less and $12.95 for longer flights.
The airline expects to offer WiFi on more than 330 aircraft by summer 2009. Delta plans to extend in-flight internet to its subsidiary, Northwest, as well.

Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased for $7 in Economy and are free of charge in First Class.- Flights less than 1.5 hours: One snack is available in Economy. First Class can choose from the Snack Basket.
- Flights 1.5- 3.5 hours: Both Classes can choose items from the Snack Basket.
- Flights over 3.5 hours: Economy passengers are offered a snack and item from the Snack Basket. First Class passengers are offered meal service and snack.
