This plane is used for international, premium transcontinental, and some domestic flights. Delta is in the process of adding audio and video onDemand in BusinessElite and changing the EmPower outlets to Regular AC. There is another configuration, the Gulf-Air version, which only has 30 BE seats and can be identified by only one exit row at row 20, which does recline.

BusinessElite has in-seat personal video with eight video channels, classic arcade games, and Airshow. Economy class has a video projector at the front of the section along with additional video monitors throughout the cabin. Movies are played on flights longer than four hours. Delta is gradually replacing the overhead CRT monitors and projectors with overhead- and bulkhead-mounted LCD screens.
