Continental designates this aircraft type as 73E. Row numbering is not sequential aboard all of Continental's 737 fleet in order to standardize the exit rows as 20 and 21. Exit rows and seats with more space are designated as Extra Legroom seats and may be reserved for a fee, depending on duration of flight. Continental OnePass Elite frequent flyers may reserve these seats at no extra cost. Continental reserves Economy rows located before the emergency exit for Elite level frequent flyers. These seats will not appear available for any other passengers at time of booking or at online check-in.

  • Continental began offering complimentary Wi-Fi on this aircraft in January 2009. Passengers have access to Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger and BlackBerry e-mail and BlackBerry Messenger services.
  • There is power for all First Class seats. In Economy, the are two units per row which are located between each power-enabled seat just below the seat cushion. No adapter is required. The power unit accepts plugs from the U.S. and other select countries.
  • Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased for $5 in Economy and are free of charge in First Class.
    • Flights 1-1.5 hours: In First, munchies are offered on flights before 10am and in both classes after 10 am.
    • Flights 2-3 plus hours: Economy passengers are offered a cold snack and light fare is offered in First Class during traditional meal times.
    • Flights over 3.5 hours: Economy passengers are offered a hot sandwich and snack (or cold breakfast). First Class passengers are offered a hot entree and snack.
