Continental Airlines Boeing 737-900 (739)
On select 737-900s, every seat in first class and every other seat in economy have regular 110v AC power ports located just below the seat cushion.
Continental will soon reconfigure this aircraft with 153 economy class seats. A galley unit at the 2R door will be removed and replaced with a lavatory, and the forwardmost of the two aft lavatories in the present configuration will be replaced with seats 32 A,B,C. The single flight attendant jumpseat in the place of seat 32D will be replaced by a double jumpseat on the adjacent to door 2R, and 32D will become a standard passenger seat.

Currently, there are televisions mounted on the ceiling throughout the plane for all classes. Continental Airlines is in the process of adding 8" personal TVs with DirecTV, which will offer more than 75 channels of live television programming and eight channels of previously recorded programming such as premium movies, sitcoms, dramas, and more.

Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased for $5 in Economy and are free of charge in First Class.- Flights 1-1.5 hours: In First, munchies are offered on flights before 10am and in both classes after 10 am.
- Flights 2-3 plus hours: Economy passengers are offered a cold snack and light fare is offered in First Class during traditional meal times.
- Flights over 3.5 hours: Economy passengers are offered a hot sandwich and snack (or cold breakfast). First Class passengers are offered a hot entree and snack.
