Continental flies three versions of this aircraft, this being the most recent version. There are nine in the fleet, with three more on the way. Eventually all those in the Version 3 configuration will be transitioned to this arrangement. All aisle-side armrests retract, which means a bit more seat width.
Currently, this version of the 737-800 has no in-flight entertainment, but it will eventually be outfitted with Live TV.
On select 737-800s, every seat in first class and every other seat in economy have regular 110v AC power ports located just below the seat cushion.

Audio Listings
Currently, there are televisions mounted on the ceiling throughout the plane for all classes. Continental Airlines is in the process of adding 8" personal TVs with DirecTV, which will offer more than 75 channels of live television programming and eight channels of previously recorded programming such as premium movies, sitcoms, dramas, and more. The service is complimentary in First Class and is available at each seat in Economy Class for $6 per flight.

Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased for $5 in Economy and are free of charge in First Class.- Flights 1-1.5 hours: In First, munchies are offered on flights before 10am and in both classes after 10 am.
- Flights 2-3 plus hours: Economy passengers are offered a cold snack and light fare is offered in First Class during traditional meal times.
- Flights over 3.5 hours: Economy passengers are offered a hot sandwich and snack (or cold breakfast). First Class passengers are offered a hot entree and snack.
