What are the requirements for using Web Check-in?
- Check-in 30 minutes-24 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart if flying within Canada.
- Check-in 1-24 hours before your flight is between Canada and other countries (including the United States).
- You are not a special needs passenger (i.e. unaccompanied minor, wheelchair or medical assistance).
- You are not a special needs passenger (i.e. unaccompanied minor).

Can I use Web Check-in if I havfe bags to check?
Yes, you will have to drop your bags at an Air Canada Express bag drop-off or Air Canada check-in counter at the airport before the cut-off time.

Air Canada allows you to check in using your mobile device by simply visiting mobile.aircanada.com, and selecting the Check-in option. Also available on mobile.aircanada.com, are all of the same aptions listed above for Web Check-in.
If I plan to check in at the airport, how much time should I allot?
If traveling within Canada:
- Air Canada recommends you arrive at the airport 60 minutes before your flight's scheduled departure.
- The cut-off time for checking in is 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.
If traveling within or to/from the U.S:
- Air Canada recommends you arrive at the airport 90 minutes before your flight's scheduled departure.
- The cut-off time for checking in is 45 minutes before scheduled departure time.
If traveling to/from an international destination (including Mexico and the Caribbean):
- Air Canada recommends you arrive at the airport 2 hours before your flight's scheduled departure.
- The cut-off time for checking in is 60 minutes before scheduled departure time.

- Within or to/from Canada and U.S.: at least 20 minutes before flight departure time
- International passengers: at least 30 minutes before flight departure time (some international destinations will require more time)
