What is unaccompanied minor service?
Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are considered unaccompanied minors. Most airlines provide a service to assist these children from their point of departure to their final destination.

What age does my child have to be to qualify as an unaccompanied minor?
Children age 5 years or older may travel unaccompanied on Air Berlin.

What are the fees associated with this service?
The carriage of unaccompanied minors is subject to a processing charge of €40 one way. For flights of over 3,000 miles this charge is €80 one way.

Are there any flight restrictions?
