Virgin Atlantic Seat Maps

The are 12 Boeing 747-400 in the Virgin Atlantic fleet. There are four possible versions of this aircraft.

This version operates in a three class configuration with an upper deck consisting of all Premium Economy seating. To verify the correct version of this aircraft at the time of booking or at online check-in, the following rows may be used as reference: Upper Class are rows 6-12; Premium Economy are rows 70-82; Economy are rows 21-65. Two of the four versions of the 747-400, have an upper deck consisting of all Premium Economy seating - this version is the one with 379 Economy Class seats.  

All versions of this aircraft have limited underseat leg and storage room for all C, D, G, and H seats in Economy due to the presence of an equipment box.

Virgin charges extra for bulkhead and other seats which have more legroom. These seats are referred to as Extra Legroom Seats. These seats are available from 30GBP and cannot be booked online. Passengers should call Virgin reservations as the seats may be already taken on the day of travel. Exit row seats may only be reserved for a fee. This fee ranges from 50GBP for Virgin's shorter flights to 125GBP to Australia.
