Singapore Airlines' upgraded KrisWorld entertainment system offers 700 audio CDs and 22 audio programs OnDemand at each seat.

Overview

Singapore Airlines uses their A380-300 aircraft for long-haul flights. The A380-800 is the only aircraft in Singapore Airline's fleet which offers fully enclosed Suite seating.

In Economy Class on the main deck, the cabin is much narrower on the floor, compared to the ceiling, which is the opposite of typical wide-body aircraft. Therefore legroom at window seats is restricted, as the seat anchors are on the outboard side. Due to this curvature, the wall is often too far away to lean on, but it provides some extra storage space. There are no individual air vents. Singapore Air charges extra for exit and bulkhead seats.

In Business Class, the overhead bins are too small for rollaboard luggage. The roller bags can be stored underneath the seat. However, passengers have stated that this may interfere with legroom and lying the seats flat.

These economy seats are thin, hard and terribly uncomfortable because of the placement of the head rest. It is a major disadvantage not being able to lean on the wall, and the leg room at the window was definitely reduced. The service on this flight was ordinary, and the food less than average. We felt like second class citizens but paid good money for this flight fromMelbourne to Singapore. We would avoid this flight (airline and aircraft) in future.

if you pick a seat up the back of an emptier flight you can sometimes have all 3 seats to yourself and can make a bed, as long as you don't mind waiting a couple of minutes to get off the plane. I took this flight from sydney to Singapore at night and it made it very easy to sleep. everyone at the back of the plane had a row to themselves

Window seats on the upper deck in economy have an extra storage 'box' between the seat and the window, right size for a handbag, found these very convenient and made them better than standard seat.

Upper Deck on the A380 is as good as it can get in terms of flying economy. It's a much smaller cabin than downstairs, so you get a lot more attention from the crew, as well as faster service for drinks and meals. It was worth paying extra for the legroom of the emergency exit row seat.
