Overweight Baggage Fees
Fee for any bag weighing 50-70 lb/23-32 kg: $50
Fee for any bag weighing 70-99 lb/33-45 kg: $75
For travel between the U.S. and Brazil, the fee for any bag weighing 73-99 lb/33-45 kg: $100
Bags weighing more than 99 lb/45 kg will not be accepted as checked baggage and must be transported via cargo.

Oversize Baggage Fees
Fee for any bag 63 linear in/157 cm - 107 in/272 cm(total length + width + height): $75
Pieces whose combined linear measurements exceed 107 in/272 cm will not be accepted as baggage and must be transported via cargo.

Excess Baggage Fees
Fee for each additional bag: $75 each
If your bag exceeds the weight and/or size requirement, then you must also pay an additional fee for overweight or oversized baggage.

Embargo Periods
During certain embargo periods, items that exceed size or weight limitations or are in excess of the baggage allowance are not allowed. During the restricted periods, Copa Airlines will not transport live animals and perishable food items in the cargo hold on flights to or from any of its destinations.
