There are 58 767-300 type aircraft in the American Airlines fleet. The entire fleet is now equipped with American's new international Business Class.

This aircraft can often be found on domestic routes, including to Hawaii. In such cases, Business Class seats are sold as domestic First Class seats. All B, E, and H seat in Economy have limited underseat leg and storage room due to the presence of an entertainment equipment box.

American has proactively deactivated power in the Coach/Economy cabin on the 767-300 aircraft due to issues discovered during maintenance checks. Passengers with need for inflight power are suggested to bring a spare battery or switch aircraft types.
