  • Economy Class Complimentary meal service is provided in the main cabin on Europe, Latin America, Japan, and Hispaniola (which includes Haiti and the Dominican Republic), on flights that depart within traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal windows.

  • First Class: Complimentary food service is offered on all flights over 1 hour 45 minutes that operate within a traditional meal time.

  First class passengers, remember the acronym FEBO for food service. American Airlines serves first class from the Front on Even numbered flights and the Back on Odd numbered flights. Being served first usually results in getting your first choice of meals.
