Do I need to reserve a seat for my infant ?
Children up to 2 years of age are not required to have their own seat, they are charged at 10% of the applicable fare + taxes and must be carried by an adult.
What if my child turns 2 on the trip; will I have to buy a ticket for the return flight?
Yes you will be required to purchase a seat before departure.
What infant amenities are available on the aircraft I'll be flying (i.e. Bassinets)?
Air Vanuatu International operates a Boeing 737-800 aircraft which does not have bassinets onboard. We do make every effort to provide a spare seat providing additional room, however this is subject to availability and is at the discretion of the Air Vanuatu duty representative. No bassinets are provided on our domestic aircraft.Can I sit in the exit row with my infant?
Children and infants are not permitted to sit in the exit rows. Also no injured or disabled persons permitted in Exit Rows.
