Air Vanuatu Infants Policy

Do I need to reserve a seat for my infant ?

Children up to 2 years of age are not required to have their own seat, they are charged at 10% of the applicable fare + taxes and must be carried by an adult.

What if my child turns 2 on the trip; will I have to buy a ticket for the return flight?

Yes you will be required to purchase a seat before departure.

What infant amenities are available on the aircraft I'll be flying (i.e. Bassinets)?

Air Vanuatu International operates a Boeing 737-800 aircraft which does not have bassinets onboard. We do make every effort to provide a spare seat providing additional room, however this is subject to availability and is at the discretion of the Air Vanuatu duty representative. No bassinets are provided on our domestic aircraft.

Can I sit in the exit row with my infant?

Children and infants are not permitted to sit in the exit rows. Also no injured or disabled persons permitted in Exit Rows.
