Starting May 7, 2008, Choice Seat assignments on the aisle or window in the first several rows of the coach cabin will be available for as little as $5 per flight. Passengers may select a Choice Seat during Web Check-in (from 24 hours and up to 90 minutes before departure.) - Beginning August 18, US Airways will charge $2 for non-alcoholic beverages and $7 for alcoholic drinks in coach class. All beverages will remain free of charge in first class. Until then, non-alcoholic beverage service will remain complimentary, and alcoholic beverages can be purchased in coach for $5.
- On flights to/from Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle, operated during meal times, food can be purchased through In-flight Cafe for $7.
- US Airways has eliminated all free snacks on its domestic flights.
