AirTran charges extra to reservation your seat ahead of time. Passengers can secure a regular coach class seat assignment for $6 each way or an exit row seat for $20 each way. Upgrades to business class are available starting at $49. See AirTran's website for more information.
Due to the curvature of the plane, the window seats have less legroom and underseat storage space. The D,E,F side of this plane has more overhead storage than the A,C side.

All aircraft feature 100 digital channels on XM Satellite Radio which include music, news, sports, talk and entertainment programming. AirTran provides headphones free of charge or you can bring your own.
AirTran plans to offer Wi-Fi service on its 136 jets by midsummer. AirTran will charge $9.95 for flights of three hours or less and $12.95 for longer flights. It will cost $7.95 for a passenger to access the internet with a smart phone.
AirTran serves complimentary coffee, juice, and Coca-Cola products on all flights. AirTran offers premium snacks, called Sky Bites, for sale on flights. These snack boxes, chips, cookies, premium juices, and bottled water can be purchased for $1-6. Beer is available for $5, and cocktails and wine cost $6.
