Airline Overview

Aegean Airlines is the largest airline of Greece. It is a premium airline that has evolved from a small carrier at its inception in 1999 to a large European regional carrier. Its network provides service to 145 destinations in 46 countries including Amsterdam, Beirut, Cairo, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Moscow, Paris, Rome, and Tel Aviv. Main base operations are located at Athens International Airport (ATH) and Thessaloniki International Airport (SKG). The fleet includes modern Airbus A319, A320, and A321 aircraft. Short-haul operations to domestic Greek cities and islands are performed via Aegean's owned small airline Olympic Air. Olympic Air's fleet includes ATR and Bombardier turboprop aircraft. Aegean Airlines is a member of Star Alliance.
