What methods of transport does Viva Aerobus (VB) provide for my pet?
Viva Aerobus (VB) allows passengers to transport their cat or dog in the cabin only. There is a limit of one pet per passenger and three pets per flight, so you should book in advance to guarantee your pet a spot onboard.
Does my animal qualify to travel in the cabin?
Your animal and carrier together must not exceed 10 kg. The kennel must be placed under the seat in front of you for the duration of the flight, and the animal may not leave the carrier at any point during the flight. Your animal must be at least 8 weeks old.
What are the kennel requirements?
The kennel must be non-ridged, soft and designed for use in an aircraft. It cannot exceed 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm. The animal must be able to stand and turn comfortably. The kennel must be lined with sufficient absorbent padding to prevent leakage
What health documentation is required?
For domestic flights, passengers must travel with the animal's current immunization record. This record must show the animal has recieved both a deworming treatment and rabies vaccine.
For internation flights, passengers must travel with the animal's current immunization record. This record must show the animal has recieved both a deworming treatment and rabies vaccine. As well, passengers must travel with a certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian at most five days prior to departure stating that your animal is fit to fly.
