Jin Air Infants Policy

Do I need to reserve a seat for my infant on Jin Air (LJ)?

Infants are customers below 24 months of age. Infants are not provided with a separate seat and must be seated with a guardian.

Will I pay for my infant to travel on Jin Air (LJ)?

Yes. The cost for International flights is 10% of regular adult fare while it is free of charge for domestic Korean flights. If one adult is traveling with two infants, you must purchase an infant flight ticket for one or more of the added infants. The infant to which the child fare applies will receive a seat.

What if my child turns 2 on the trip; will I have to buy a ticket for the return flight on Jin Air(LJ)?

Yes, a ticket will have to be purchased for any flight on which the infant will be over 2 years old.

Are strollers or infant carriers permitted beyond security?

The stroller and/or infant carrier may be taken onboard as long as they may be compacted and may be stored in the overhead bin. If you have a stroller and/or infant carrier that may not be stored in the overhead bin, then you may gate check for cargo hold transport with the gate agent.
