Founded in 1932 as McGee Airways, Alaska Airlines (AS) is the seventh-largest carrier in the United States. It is headquartered in Seattle and operates hubs at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Portland International Airport (PDX), Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Alaska Airlines flies to about 100 destinations across the United States, Canada, Costa Rica and Mexico. While not a member of a large airline alliance, Alaska Airlines also has codeshare agreements with 14 other carriers. Its fleet of 140 Boeing passenger aircraft features both one-cabin (Economy Class) and two-cabin (First Class and Economy Class) configurations.
