Airline Overview

The country's flag carrier, Air Vanuatu (NF) operates from a hub at Bauerfield International Airport (VLI) in Port Vila. The airline, which was founded in 1981, flies to more than destinations. This includes 28 domestic routes to the provinces of Malampa, Penama, Shefa, Tafea and Torba, as well as international flights to Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand and Solomon Islands. Air Vanuatu also has codeshare agreements on certain routes with Air New Zealand (NZ), Fiji Airways (FJ) and Qantas (QF). Its fleet consists of five aircraft with a one-cabin Economy Class configuration, as well as one plane configured with both Business Class and Economy Class.
