If I plan to check in at the airport, how much time should I allot?
Check-in begins three hours prior to departure at the Air Jamaica airport ticket counter. Due to international processing and increased security requirements, you should arrive at the airport at least 2.5 hours prior to your departure time to allow sufficient time to complete all necessary processing and documentation.
Your reservations may be cancelled if you are not at the check-in counter at least 60 minutes prior to departure. You should be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart. Failure to do so may result in seat cancellation and the removal of your checked bags from the aircraft.
