All flights feature a radio program with current top-hits, classical music, and jazz.

Passengers can use conventional headphones, such as those for their MP3 player, to listen to airberlin's entertainment program.  Alternatively, passengers can purchase headphones on board for $4/€3.

Passenjers can enjoy airberlin's new Inflight Entertainment System in both classes. Each seat has a high resolution LED monitor operated via touchscreen, of 15" in the Business Class and 8.9" in the Economy Class. Passengers have a choice of more than 200 hours of entertainment including current box office hits, TV series, music and games. There is a headphone connection directly on the monitor and a USB port for operating electronic devices such as an iPhone or Blackberry.

airberlin's Entertainment Program

The airberlin A330-200 has in-seat AC Power for all Business Class seats. In the Economy Class, passengers can use the USB port present on each Personal TV screen for operating electronic devices such as an iPhone or Blackberry.

On all flights, airberlin is offering complimentary snacks and beverages (coffee, tea, soft drinks). On routes with a flight time of more than 90 minutes, passengers are also being offered complimentary sandwiches. On flights over 4 hours, passengers can choose from a range of different bagels and baguettes, nibbles and chocolate bars. Passengers also have the option of pre-ordering special complimentary refreshments (vegetarian/ gluten-free/ lactose-free meals) by contacting airberlin's Service Center, at least 48 hours in advance.

On many airberlin routes with a flight over 60 minutes passengers can enjoy freshly prepared Gourmet meals designed by Sansibar. Depending on the time of day or season of the year, passengers are being offered a range of specialties created by Herbert Seckler, who runs the Sansibar restaurant on the German island of Sylt. On long-haul flights you also have the option, free of charge, of pre-ordering special children’s menus » for children from the age of two.

• Reservation: The seat reservation for families with children under 2 years of age is free of charge. Passengers must reserve through airberlin's Service Center, at least 48 hours in advance.

• Bassinets: airberlin provides bassinets/cots free of charge, in the first row, on flights of 90 minutes or longer (for infants up to 12 months old, subject to availability). You will also receive a bag with a nappy, baby bottle, and a bib.

• Baby food: airberlin will warm up your baby food during the flight.
